Extreme Sports Angling, or ESA as the company are more commonly known, are located in Ballito, KwaZulu Natal and air a television programme which at the time of writing this is shown on Super Sport 1 on Tuesday evenings between 19:00 and 19:30 and Thursday evenings between 19:30 and 20:30. The TV programme is great for SA fishing fans and filled with tips on all kinds of fishing equipment to be used for various types of fishing and for catching all different kinds of fish found around the country.
The website for Extreme Sports Angling (ESA) at the time of writing this article was difficult to access even on a fast broadband speed. We did however eventually manage to access the ESA website and upon doing so we found some great content with more tips and information through the articles about fishing in and around South Africa. We found a fishing events calendar, equipment for sale through the classified ads and a weather forecast facility embedded within the site, all of which can be useful to fisher men and women around SA. Joining the site and becoming a member gives people full access to the site along with some nice benefits.
Apart from the TV programme they also have a monthly magazine available to subscribe to which is also always packed with tips and advice on rods, reels, baits to use, equipment and great fishing spots to visit around SA just to name but a few. The magazine is available to buy from stores that stock most popular SA magazines if you are interested in having a read although we fully recommend subscribing. If you are a beginner, seasonal or experienced all round fisherman or woman then the Extreme Sports Angling TV programme, magazine and the ESA website are all places you can pick up useful advice and enjoy.
